whooo~ im back from camp

overall, the YLMP camp was great, enriching and enlightening..

3Days and 2Nights spent wisely and fruitfully learning things

and experience some brand new things

be it fix the puzzle, the moat, the hunt, kodak moment, cheer, S-L presentation

i learnt many new things
and had great fun

that, i'm glad my time has not been wasted

though homework still lingers....

well, i can say its one of the best teams ever, better than last year's GAP team i daresay

is abit weird to me

i mean,
if that is your dream and your passion
i will not say anything
however, i feel many students nowadays wants to be popular
but is there a need to enter this competitions against your will?
let the truly passionate people go, I will say.
Be it Superstar, Campus Superstar, Super Host, Star Idol etc etc...
i hav the mindset that Mediacorp uses this only to grab more local talents for local shows
well, im not sure though
but then, on a positive note, i feel that Mediacorp
may just want locals to be more exposed and experienced this way
before they even think of going regional
shld their talents allow them too...


Is fame so important?

holidays really sucks
i haven't completed all my homework
yet my room faced a makeover today
had to clear my entire room
which took 5hrs
including my bed, comp table, cupboard, computer
wth...
that mover came late at 530pm
when i cleared my stuff all by 1pm

say short of one spare part
cannot complete my table!
now it moves if i apply too much force on my elbows
some kind of "service"
cant put back all my things

thinking back...
the thing so unique about my life
had to be huiguan lessons
i began in around 1995
i cant remember vividly
but those were really fond memories
memories that enhanced the colours of my life


as i progressed on, i entered the actual thing
speech and drama lessons...
i was from the playgroup class
i loved everything i did there
singing, playing, dancing
the joys of my life they were
went to 'ban'
did well, and got promoted to "tuan"
earlier than the others by one year
in that year
The Magic Brush was staged in Victoria Theatre.
2000
what a thrilling experience it has been!



contrasting with my life now...
then was much better
no tests
no stress
no exams
lots of play
lots of singing
lots of dancing!

someone was right when she said she preferred her younger days
i can't help but to agree...
much has changed through time, adversities and success
i wish to go back when i was just a kindergarden student
